Survivor: Game Changers – Seventh Boot

The elimination of the queen on last week’s Survivor: Game Changers put her only ally at the NuNuNuku in hot water as he tried to wiggle his way out of an inevitable situation.

While the plan to oust Ozzy sounded brilliant, everybody wasn’t really on board, and one of those people was Zeke because he wanted the target to be off of him. The target then goes back to the only original Mana member on NuNuNuku, which means he’s going to have to put up a fight on Tribal Council to make sure he stays.

Varner started this game floating in the middle, keeping his options open to make sure that in case one plans go south, he’ll have enough wiggle room to get back up. However, with the multiple twists presented in the game, and Varner attending almost every Tribal Council of the season, he lost traction.

Being the only original Mana member left on the NuNuNuku tribe after Sandra’s elimination, Varner had to scramble and make sure that the target is off of him, and when an opportunity to get rid of someone else is presented, of course, he immediately grabs it.

With that, the vote was either going to be Ozzy or Varner, and it’s all just going to come down to what will be said on Tribal Council.

Sidenote: Do you remember the last time Varner pleaded to be kept over a strong long-haired male in Survivor: Cambodia? Yep, he was voted out.

While Varner could have had a more graceful exit, it doesn’t seem like that’s what we’re going to get from him as we witness one of the heaviest, darkest, most controversial moment in Tribal Council happen – Varner outs Zeke as transgender. There is nothing more to say about what happened, because it happened. Zeke confided in Varner, but Varner decides to spill Zeke’s gender identity.

Because of what happened, they have decided that there shouldn’t be a vote, and Varner was eliminated from the game. Quoting Jeff Probst, “We don’t need a vote. Go grab your torch.”

Varner is the first three time player to never be a part of the jury, despite making the merge in Australian Outback.
