Pokémon Sun and Moon: New Ultra Beasts Revealed

The Official Pokémon Channel on YouTube dropped another trailer revealing two new Ultra Beasts that appear exclusively on each of the games.

For Pokémon Sun, the Ultra Beast that will appear is UB-02 known as Absorption. UB-02 Absorption’s body is covered by its tremendous muscles. Its characteristic long proboscis is said to be tougher than diamonds.

Meanwhile, for Pokémon Moon, the Ultra Beast that will appear is UB-02 known as Beauty. They say that any Pokémon that sees UB02 Beauty, regardless of gender, gets charmed and lose their will to fight. It is still unknown whether this occurs because of an unknown pheromone from the Ultra Beast, or if its figure can cause a hypnotic effect. The creature has thin and flexible legs that gives it speed fast enough to dodge even lightning.

In the video, it is shown that the Ultra Beasts are summoned to, what it seems like, attack the region, and Hala has to battle them with Tapu Koko.

The Ultra Beasts, as of now, are still shrouded with mystery as the creatures are not classified as Pokémon. Their numbers and purposes are still not known, and according to the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon website, these creatures possess mighty powers that could pose a threat to both humans and Pokémon.

Although in-game, the Ultra Beasts may be speculated as Pokémon, as somehow, they would have a typing, especially if you encounter them in battles. That is unless they have devised a way to make the trainers battle these creatures.

You can watch the trailer below:

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are the primary paired version of Generation VII of Pokémon which will be released on the Nintendo 3DS, November 18.
